The lowest cost of finance-grade ‘hub-height and above’ wind data available – that’s ZephIR Direct

Ledbury, UK— £30,000 for one year’s worth of ZephIR 300 measuring at any height up to 200 metres from ground level, anywhere in the world.

The new commercial offer, delivered by ZephIR under the brand ZephIR Direct, is as innovative as the continuous wave lidar technology found inside ZephIR 300. And, with the widespread acceptance of continuous wave lidar data now across onshore and offshore campaigns, ZephIR Lidar has today announced this significantly reduced price of DNV GL Stage 3 bankable wind data for customers, by offering an option which removes the need for capital expenditure on technology ownership.

For the provision of 12 months ZephIR 300 as part of a 24 month fixed rental period, these finance-grade, ‘hub-height and above’ wind measurements are now cheaper than an 80 metre IEC compliant met mast onshore and is often seen to reduce project energy uncertainty by measuring at higher heights that would otherwise be extrapolated from the shorter met mast.

ZephIR Direct is also provided with the industry leading ZephIR Care warranty and support package for the duration of the campaign which includes as standard: No annual servicing, dedicated technical support engineer via telephone and to perform remote diagnostics, an IEC compliant met mast validation, choice of data delivery (email, FTP, web interface, real-time) and a replacement ‘courtesy’ ZephIR 300 made available in any rare event where an infield issue cannot be quickly resolved remotely.

ZephIR 300 is the single most validated wind lidar at a consistent IEC compliant met mast site and provides wind industry users with:
