All wind Lidars are the industry-leading ZX 300 from ZX Lidars with optimised processing for improved wind data quality control, are subject to full IEC classification and are accepted by DNV GL as a Stage 3 bankable device. Lidars can be made available at very short notice (subject to availability) and come

Access to low cost, accurate and reliable nacelle-based wind measurements from industry-leading wind Lidars, without the initial capital outlay or cost of equipment ownership.
All Lidars are the industry-leading ZX TM units with full turbine rotor scanning capacity (bottom tip, hub height and top tip) and are at most 2 years from new at the time of installation. Systems are fully factory calibrated, verified and ready for deployment. Lidars can be made available at very short notice (subject to availability) and come fully configured based on your measurement requirements. Quickly assess wind turbine performance without the need for a met mast or without being solely reliant on turbine SCADA data.

ZX Measurement Services offer a full Remote Sensing Device (RSD) fleet management service effectively removing the need to dedicate any internal resource to RSD system management, operation and servicing.
This ensures your fleet of Lidar’s and Sodar’s is fully checked, configured and ready for deployment when not on-site and each device is fully optimised with maximum data availability when on-site.

Full turnkey measurement services or measurement support as part of a larger project team as required. A highly experienced team with over 70 years combined experience in the design, installation and management of measurement mast and Lidar based measurement systems. Fundamental understanding of the importance of your data, measurement uncertainty and the need for high quality data with high availability to ensure your project succeeds. All engineering and technician staff have full GWO training and we have specialist in nacelle and offshore-based Lidar and instrumentation installations.

Reliable Remote Power Supply for Lidars and Sodars
The ZX Measurement Services Remote Sensing Device Hybrid Power Supply utilises the latest EFOY Pro methanol fuel cell technology combined with wind and solar charging of a large battery bank.
This provides a powerful and reliable off-grid power supply for a range of Remote Sensing Devices.
With optional remote monitoring, all maintenance and refuelling can be responded to in a timely manner resulting in maximum device uptimes.
112 Litres of fuel capacity means the number of refuel visits per campaign is kept low.

Service Basics
Standalone modular system for maximum flexibility in relation to transportation and installation.
The latest EFOY Pro 2800 fuel cell provides more power and a longer lifespan than previous EFOY models.
Online Portal monitoring of both the fuel cell and the Solar Charge Controller gives accurate visibility of the system’s performance, maintenance requirements and fuel level, reporting allowing for timely refuelling.
A Load disconnect relay function allows the RSD to be switched on and off remotely, which can be used to clear device and communication faults without a site visit.
A Low Voltage Disconnect device is used to protect the batteries from damage.
An optional data package can be provided which roams over all available networks giving maximum signal coverage.

Solar Resource Assessment
ZX Measurement Services now offer the installation of a complete and integrated Solar Resource Assessment solution for the formal resource assessment of utility-scale photovoltaic projects.
The SRA System systematically collects high quality local meteorological data at a prospective solar energy production site. By capturing all relevant meteorological conditions, including solar irradiance (both global and reflected), ambient temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, and precipitation our complete and integrated measurement solution enables users to lower the uncertainty of energy production estimates associated with utility-scale photovoltaic projects or verify satellite based data models.
