ISO9001 and ISO45001 awards confirmed as ZX Measurement Services completes first 5 years in the wind energy industry.
Glasgow-based wind energy services provider ZX Measurement Services was established in 2018 and has since achieved over 100 Lidar deployments across 12 countries, including Scotland, Zambia, Japan and Poland for a broad range of wind farm developers, owners, operators and consultants. The team has managed over 23,000 days of Lidar data for clients – that’s over 550,000 hours of wind data to support wind farm development projects onshore and offshore!

To meet this increasing demand for accurate and robust wind measurements, ZX MS has also doubled the size of their premises to accommodate the rapid fleet expansion of Lidars, Sodars and autonomous power supplies. And for the company’s 5th birthday ZX Measurement Services has been awarded ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 accreditation for Quality Operations and Occupational Health & Safety to UKAS standard.
Ian Ravey, Managing Director at ZX Measurement Services commented: “As the demand for cleaner energy continues to rise, the demand for wind measurement services looks set to exponentially rise as we have experienced year-on-year to date. Our latest ISO accreditations, along with the projects we have worked on to date are testament to the experienced and hard-working team we have within ZX Measurement Services”.
ZX MS provides clients with full turn-key services including Lidar & power supply rental, and installation of all equipment whilst also ensuring communications for data transfer, and data management & reporting to provide timely updates of project progress. This complete wind measurement system approach allows developers to access low cost, reliable and accurate measurements using the industry leading ZX 300 wind Lidar, without the capital outlay for equipment; simply ‘wind data as a service’.
