Wind resource assessment and measurements onshore
Bankable standalone wind data in simple and complex terrain
Extreme environments, proven operation for 10 years
10-300m range - the widest range available of any Lidar
Onshore wind measurements from a vertical profiling Lidar from 10 to 300 meters, fully IEC Classified with finance-grade data accepted by DNV, UL, Natural Power and Deutsche WindGuard
Reduce your onshore wind project and financial uncertainty by measuring wind characteristics higher than a met mast and by mobilising measurements across a whole site with wind Lidar. Be flexible within your planning applications by using a low visual impact, low height device.
ZX 300 (formerly ZephIR 300) is designed for extreme conditions with a small, angled top surface to allow rain and snow to run off easily
Our product is housed in a rota-moulded twin skinned insulated casing for all weather performance and robustness for low through-life cost of ownership proven to last 10 years
Adjustable legs in a tripod format to help improve stability even in the most complex of terrains
Our Customer Care Charter defines our best-in-class support and services for our Lidar users. We focus on In-field Support, Validations & Verifications, Warranties and Training.
ZX 300 is accepted by leading independent engineers and consultancies such as DNV GL, UL, Natural Power and Deutsche WindGuard. Our product family has attracted more than £150bn of wind farm financing in the last 5 years alone.
ZX Measurement Services operates and deploys ZX 300 wind Lidars globally working with our international team of Trusted Service Providers. We deliver power, communications and installation so you don’t have to.

The Use Cases presented here have been tried and tested over the last two decades. Lidar users help to inform standards which in turn help to drive change. New Use Cases are being developed all of the time. Lidar benefits are gained throughout wind farm project lifecycles from development, construction, operation and repowering.
Deutsche WindGuard accepts the use of standalone ZX 300 wind Lidar in complex terrain using ZX Complex Flow Solver. This tool uses high speed CFD modelling to convert Lidar data in to equivalent met mast data in areas of complex flow. ZX CFS is available as a post-processing tool for complete transparency and audit in project due diligence.
Your high value wind data is available through a range of communication protocols from Wi-Fi to a direct Ethernet connection and over mobile / cellular networks. On-board Lidar software helps to configure, check status and play live and recorded a timeseries.
ZX Measurement Services provide rental ZX 300 wind Lidars globally working with our international team of Trusted Service Providers. This can sometimes be the best low-cost access to Lidar for quick turnaround wind measurement projects.
